Updates
Salvo can check for new versions by itself and, if you want, update by itself.

Settings › Updates: a card with Installed, Published, Checked and Last update, and the buttons Check now and Update now.
Automatic updates:
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Off | nothing on its own |
| Only notify (default) | checks every 6 hours; a new version becomes an alert (screen and channels) |
| Automatic | also updates on its own, outside the backup window and only when nothing is running; a failed attempt is not repeated within 6 hours and becomes an alert; recorded in the Audit |
On the command line

# choose: desligado (off), avisar (only notify) or automatico (automatic)
/var/lib/salvo/salvo config --set atualizacao_auto=avisar
# check and update by hand
/var/lib/salvo/salvo self-update --check
